The Treasure Island Tasting Part II
St. Veran Vin Auvigue ($19.99 During Tasting)
- Saint-Veran is a pale and brilliant gold and crystal clear. The nose has subtle and gracious fruit aromas of Anjou pears, white peaches, acacia and honeysuckle. Chalone Ltd Release Pinot Noir ($15.99 During Tasting)
- Red cherry, red currant, mushroom and sandalwood flavors mark this appealing wine. Bone dry, with good acidity, it’s a fine wine to drink now, but it should also age for quite some time.” {Compare elsewhere at $35} 92 Points W&S
BV Tapestry ($37.99 During Tasting)
- ” Five Bordeaux-heritage varietals contribute layer-upon-layer of flavor complexity; this is a wine that shows the artistry of the winemaker. Cabernet and Cabernet Franc comprise the wine’s core of briary blackberry and cassis expression and its firm tannin structure. Merlot for plush mid-palate texture and a hint of cherry, and Petit Verdot and Malbec complete the blend with nuances of ripe plum, rose, forest loam and graphite. {Compare @ $61.99 for this treasure}
Provenance Cabernet ($27.99 During Tasting)
